NGC 4490 and NGC 4485

Probably my favorite interacting pair of galaxies is this pair. The larger and brighter of the two is NGC 4490 and it shows just how disturbed it is with its tear drop shape. The companion, NGC 4485 is a dim oval almost touching NGC 4490.
