NGC 6819

The Fox Head Cluster is an open cluster in Cygnus. In the 4″ refractor it appears to be an unresolved gray spot with approximately 10 faint stars in two diverging lines. The unresolved gray haze has a definite heart shape. It’s a very interesting cluster in a 4″ telescope. with a 10″ scope there are about 80 stars visible at high magnification.
