I do not know about you but I have thought about doing the Sun Spoter Club in the Astronomical League. Now that the sun is in the midst of the current sun spot cycle, it is a good time for observing the sun. I really enjoy watching the spots grow and travel across the disk of the Sun. This past week has been a particulary active week with one of the largest groups that I have seen. There are some really unusual looking spots in this group too. Here is a sketch of that group. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
