Last week at the East Coast Star Party on the Outer Banks of NC, I observed the galaxy group Hickson 68 in the constellation of Canes Venatici. I was thoroughly impressed with this grouping of galaxies in my 10″ dobsonian mounted reflector. Two of the members, NGC 5353 and NGC 5354 are an interacting pair of galaxies. Here is my sketch as it appeared to me that night.
